Houston...we have a tooth!

Caden has been chewing on his hands for like 2 months now, but no swollen gums or any real sign of a tooth....until the last week or so! Every now and again, I feel around in his mouth for anything coming in, and this week I swore his bottom gums felt raised, so I asked my mother in law who confirmed that I wasn't crazy.

He hasn't really loved me sticking my finger in his mouth (oh and he HATES Orajel by the way!...Nastiest. Face. Ever!) so I have tried not to bug him too much. Last night at the basketball game, he let out a huge yawn and I saw a little white line in his bottom gum, just to the right of center.

This morning I felt in there and it definitely was under the skin, but very close to the surface. By the time I got home at 4:30, the sucker had poked through! My little baby has his first tooth!

I am going to take a picture once it is a little "taller" and we can see it better.
