I have two favorite cities. I can't pick. It's a tie! Big city wise, San Francisco takes it! I don't really like big cities for traveling. I used to, but now I prefer nature over skyscrapers. But, San Francisco is a different type of city. It has charm, and being on the bay, has a nature feel too! Jared and I first traveled there in 2008 and fell in love with it. We went back in the summer of 2009 and then again for spring break 2010. I adore the hilly neighborhoods, the wharf, the sourdough bread, the water, the bridge and all of it!
My non-big-city favorite is Lake Tahoe! If I had all the money I wanted, I would live in San Francisco and have a weekend home in Tahoe! ***Sigh!*** : ) We have also been to Lake Tahoe the 3 times we went to San Fran. Something about this place makes me happy. It is surrounded by mountains and the lake is the prettiest blue. It is mountain-lodge-ish in style. There are some AWESOME houses there! I also love to hike in Tahoe. ***sigh*** again!
