Aside from basketball, my summer thus far has consisted of daily trips to the gym (yes I am still working out!), lots of cleaning (I guess they call this "nesting") and just hanging out! This week has been special....we had to take Jared's car in to get fixed from our minor fender bender about a month ago, so he has my car when he has...you guessed it....basketball! So I have been home a lot the past couple days. Oakely had to be taken to the vet yesterday because he has been shaking his ear and whining. He has a bad ear infection and a yeast infection of the skin. He also has a debt of $ 252 from his hour at the vet yesterday : ( My wedding ring is at the jewelers being fixed, and our lawnmower is also at a family friend's who repairs them. So basically everything was broken and is being fixed this week.
My pregnancy is going great and going by so fast! I have felt great! I get the occasional shortness of breath from the lack of lung space in my ever expanding belly and I am a little uncomfortable sleeping, but that can all be expected for being 8 months along. I do have the constant feeling of feet in my ribcage, but I don't mind!
We had our 31 week appt last week and had an ultrasound to check my placenta. At my 16 week appt they said it was close to my cervix, but not anymore! It has moved so we are good to go with a vaginal birth. Baby Caden is head down (which explains the feet in my ribs thing!) and is looking great. He apparently has long thighs and big feet! His daddy is hoping this means he will be a big strong basketball player! We got to see his hands, his feet and his little ears....oh and his boy parts. Yes he is still a boy!
I have so much to do before he gets here. Closet organizing, baby-clothes washing, insurance calling & a little more nursery decorating to do! We are getting excited. Here are a few pics!
