25 days!!!

Woah! I am sitting in my classroom listening to our instrumental group practice Christmas music! Tomorrow is December 1! It is hard to believe, especially since it is 82 degrees out today! (Thankfully there is a cold front coming through tonight!!!)

This is my favorite time of year for so many reasons!

1)DAYS OFF!-Being a teacher has the benefits of 2 weeks off for Christmas, and it is double awesome that my husband is a teacher too! I can't wait to have 2 weeks to hang out with Jared & little guy!

2)FAMILY- I always love going home to VA to spend time with my family every Christmas, but this year it is even more exciting to have little Caden as part of our family. He will get to see his Grandma, great grandparents, cousins, and aunts and uncles as well as all of our church family!

3)GIVING- I have some good gifts up my sleeve this year! Also, I can't stop buying for this kid, who, I need not mention, cannot even open his own gifts yet! But still!

4)DECORATIONS- I love Christmas trees (mine is 10 ft) and lights and all the decorations that go along with the season! For some reason I love sitting in my living room in the morning when I am feeding Caden his bottle, with the tree lights on. It just seems cozier!

5)SWEATERS!- I love being able to wear sweaters! Here in FL it is possible that you could be Christmas shopping in shorts & flip flops...yeah sad but true. But anytime we get a little burst of cooler weather, even if it is just for a few days, I love to wear my sweaters! I have a few in the closet waiting with tags on!

6)COFFEE- Well I ALWAYS love coffee (except for about a month or so in the beginning of my pregnancy), but it seems like coffee is more fun and comforting when it is cool out.
