Team BLUE!!!

We had our anatomy ultrasound this morning at 16 weeks 3 days! We were hoping they could tell us the sex of baby St. Charles, and we were in luck! The ultrasound tech, asked us right away if we would like to know what we were having and we said YES! (This was the 1st ultrasound J got to go to with me). I was sure it was a girl, just because he wanted a boy so bad. I looked up at the screen and saw very defined BOY parts! The little guy wasn't shy! We were very excited!

Everything measured as it should, and the little dude had a heartrate of 150 bpm. HE was wiggling around quite a bit, as the ultra sound tech was pressing the probe thingy onto my belly. She said he was really low down into my pelvis. My OB, Dr. Walter (who I love by the way!) did mention that I have what is called a "Marginal Placenta" meaning that it is very close to my cervix. He said 9 times outta 10 it moves, and is no problem. If it moved and covered the cervix and didn't move out of the way, I would have to have a C-section. He said not to worry, and we will check it at my 25 week appointment!

Anyways, we are thrilled with our little boy, and I can't wait to buy stuff! I wanted to go on my way home from work and buy him his first official boy outfit, but it was pouring and we were under tornado watch or warning or something! (those 2 always confuse me!)
