And baby makes 3! (Well & there's Oakley too)

I have never been a blogger, but I have decided we will actually have regular news worth posting now that we are PREGNANT! I am so excited to really spill the beans now to everyone! After a loss back in October, I have been on pins & needles waiting to get to the 12 week mark to be able to share with everyone that we are expecting a little munchkin on August 23rd! (Yes, right when school begins!)

And here we are at 12 weeks and 1 day. I had my 12 week scan this morning and everything looked great! The little dude was in there moving around, with a heart rate of 167. I could see it's hands moving and it was even bouncing around a little. I am so relieved! I found out I was pregnant on Dec. 18th and it was only one cycle after my miscarriage and D & C, so needless to say, I have been a little nervous. I then had a little scare at 8.5 weeks with a subchorionic hematoma (blood clot in the lining of the uterus). That has resolved itself and everything now is pretty great, except for the constant feeling of exhaustion and the need to eat every 2 hours!

I am ready now to really get excited about being pregnant and will do my best to keep the blog updated!
